THE DFL APPLICATION PROCESS: a step-by-step guide
To be considered for a Daughters for Life scholarship, you must:
  • Meet all of DFL’s requirements
  • Be accepted by one of our Academic Scholarship Partners
Please note: Scholarship places are limited; where multiple applicants meet these requirements, a combination of financial need and academic ability will be used to differentiate candidates and make a selection.

Ready to apply? Great! There are three things you need to do:

Provide Supporting Documentation

  • There’s a number of documents you need to provide with your DFL application; make sure you know what they are and have them ready before you apply online – download your DFL document checklist.
  • You’ll also need a Financial Needs Analysis form which must be signed and completed with your application. Any application without this will not be considered.
  • Don’t forget to get two referees to complete the reference form and email it directly to us @ apply@daughtersforlife.com. This year we’re looking for one from a teacher, and one from a someone who knows you at a community project or volunteer role.

Apply to our Academic Scholarship Partners

  • Make sure you know who you’re applying to and what program(s) you want to study – you’ll need this information for the scholarship application.
  • You’ll need to apply for them at the same time as applying for DFL, and complete your applications by the same deadline – January 12th, 2018.
  • Still not sure? Read up on this year’s Academic Scholarship Partners.

Submit an Online Application

  • We now have an online application form where you’ll be able to submit all the required documentation so make sure it’s ready!
  • It’s not possible to save the form and go back to it, so you’ll need to copy the questions into a word file to draft, and return to the form once you’re ready to submit.
  • Don’t forget, the deadline to apply is January 12th, 2018!
