Abeer Obaido

Abeer ObaidoAbeer Obaido, Palestine

Bachelor of Art in Liberal Studies

New College of Florida, FL, USA

Year of graduation: 2019

Abeer Obaido is a twenty one year old Palestinian born in Jordan and currently living in the UAE. She holds an Associate in Arts degree with an area of emphasis in social and behavioral sciences from International Horizons College. Abeer currently teaches art, classical guitar, and english to students with language comprehension difficulties. She enjoys reading biographies and experimenting with different painting materials.

Her main goal is to facilitate learning with creativity to tackle physical or mental irregularities. Daughters for Life Foundation has given her a wonderful opportunity to complete her Bachelors degree at New College of Florida with formal learning in fine arts and child development.

Abeer stands firmly with DFL’s vision of education as a powerful solution to regional barriers. And looks forward to incorporate her learning experience with therapeutic modalities at workshops across the Middle East. “I would like to express a deep sense of gratitude to the foundation for believing in me as a scholar, and I hope to bring positive results to the communities we live in.”
