Jomana Abdo is from Jerusalem, Palestine. In 2014 she got a scholarship to pursue her post graduate studies in childhood studies at Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom. She has a passion for working with children. She hopes to improve and strengthen the educational system and have her own nursery. She is currently a research assistant at Birzeit University. She is very grateful for receiving the Daughters for Life scholarship. The financial support she received provided her with the resources she needed, reducing financial concerns and allowing her to focus on solely on her studies. Her scholarship brings her one step closer to achieving her goals. She is determined to work very hard and hopes that she will be able to give back to others as she has been so fortunate herself.
